Puckett’s Boat House Accepting Thanksgiving Catering Orders

Puckett’s Boat House, the downtown Franklin seafood concept under the A. Marshall Family Foods Inc. umbrella, is accepting Turkey Day to-go catering orders and holiday catering orders for office parties and larger events this Thanksgiving.

The restaurant will open its doors for the second year in a row on Thanksgiving Day, offering guests the chance to dine on traditional holiday favorites with a Boat House twist.

Puckett’s Boat House’s Thanksgiving catering menu includes dishes the restaurant is known for such as peel and eat shrimp, gumbo and whiskey cheddar grits, as well as its house made oyster dressing and pineapple casserole, which are holiday exclusives.

For those wishing to mix in some classics with the tropical Boat House offerings, creamed corn, mashed potatoes, cornbread dressing and homemade cranberry relish are also available, among other traditional fare.

The restaurant is accepting catering orders through Sunday, Nov. 20. These can be placed online at www.puckettsboathouse.com or by calling (615) 790-2309.

Puckett’s Boat House also has a private event space upstairs that can accommodate 25 to 30 guests and can be booked by phone or online for large holiday gatherings and other events.

On Thanksgiving Day, Puckett’s Boat House will be open from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. and will serve a special lunch buffet for the occasion that includes roasted turkey, corn pudding, traditional dressing and sweet potato casserole, as well as baked salmon, jambalaya, oyster dressing and a squash and tomato casserole, to name a few.

Openings are limited and reservations are being accepted by phone only at (615) 790-2309. The buffet is $30 per person for adults and $15 per child.
