Preserve Brentwood to Host Election Forum

Brentwood voting citizens will have an opportunity to hear from all five City Commission candidates through a forum put together by Preserve Brentwood.

The forum will take place on TuesdayApril 14 beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the new Brentwood High School Performing Arts Center. Tracy Kornet, broadcaster from Channel 4 WSMV news will be the moderator for the evening.

All five candidates for City Commissioner have agreed to participate in the forum, including: Vice Mayor Jill Bergin, Mayor Betsy Crossley, Commissioner Anne Dunn, Tamela Soltis, and Ken Travis.

The candidates will be available after the forum for one-on-one discussions with the citizens.

Brentwood City Commissioner early voting is available weekdays from 8:00 am-6:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to noon beginning Wednesday, April 15-30, 2015 at Brentwood Library, Brentwood Municipal Center (City Hall on Maryland Way) and Williamson Administrative Complex in Franklin.

Election Day is Tuesday, May 5, 2015 and votes may be cast at individual voting precincts throughout the city.
