These jerseys will be worn at the 2020 NHL Winter Classic at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas when the Preds take on the Dallas Stars. From the Preds’ release about the jersey design:

“The new jersey was created with a heritage aesthetic, featuring designs inspired by Nashville’s rich hockey history and its passionate hockey fanbase. The script crest, felt block lettering and classic striping create a nostalgic look suitable for the NHL Winter Classic’s celebration of the game’s origins outdoors.”

Here’s your first look at the new threads:

Nashville’s hockey heritage on display

The homage to the hockey heritage of Nashville, the Dixie Flyers, is a really nice touch. You can see the resemblance immediately with the script name inside of the striping.

  1. Love the Dixie Flyers! I live in Dallas and will be wearing my Dixie Flyers jersey. I played in their youth leagues at the Municipal Auditorium in Nashville!

Keep your stick low and goals, high!
