The Predators swept the four-game regular season series against the Avalanche outscoring them by a count of 17-8. Nashville closed out its regular season on Saturday night knocking off the Columbus Blue Jackets 4-1 behind a hat trick from winger Filip Forsberg.
Colorado snuck into the playoffs after defeating the St. Louis Blues on Saturday night by the score of 5-2.
