After no one claimed the winning numbers– 17, 68, 19, 43, 39 and 13– on Saturday, the second-largest jackpot ever in the Powerball lottery has grown from $650 million to $700 million.
Numbers are drawn again tonight, Wednesday, Aug 23, at 10 p.m. Central time.

In Tennessee, a lucky winner in Houston County won $2 million and someone in Memphis won $200,000.
The largest-ever Powerball lottery was won in part by a Tennessean just last year. The record $1.6 billion jackpot got split three-ways between a resident in Munford, Tennessee and a winner in California and Florida.
It might be fun to play, but the odds of actually winning– 1 in 229 million– are about the same as dying in a shark attack– 1 in 300 million– or killed by an asteroid– 1 in 1.6 million.
