Posh Announces Opening of Downtown Franklin Location

Posh

Posh, one of Nashville’s longest-running clothing boutiques, is celebrating the opening of its first franchise store in historic, downtown Franklin, 231 Public Square, Suite 120. Inaugural franchisee Jenn Martens, who has been with Posh as a buyer since 2013,  announced the store will be open the first week of March with a grand opening celebration on March 14th.

Posh founder Kathy Hadley opened the first Posh in a small space in Hillsboro Village nearly 22 years ago and has grown the brand into a destination shopping experience for locals and tourists alike with locations in the Hill Center Green Hills and its Hillsboro Village flagship at the corner of 21st and Belcourt Avenues.

Hadley has also operated the Cool Springs location (1556 W McEwen) since 2012, which she sold to Martens, and now Martens will be relocating to downtown Franklin.

“This is a dream come true and something Kathy and I have been working on for the past year,” said Martens, a Franklin resident who started with Posh as a store manager/buyer in the Green Hills location six years ago. “Kathy has been such a mentor and guide throughout this process. I think her humble leadership, combined with Posh’s unique style and approach to brand curation is what has set it apart from other boutiques for years, and is what sets it apart from other franchise opportunities.”

Seismic shifts in consumer shopping habits, coupled with Nashville’s boom, have fueled Posh’s growth and driven continuous innovation. While concepting her franchise model last year, Hadley embarked on a brand refresh, an expanded online presence with poshonline.com, and the opening of her franchise concept store in Green Hills two doors down from the original Hill Center Green Hills location. Hadley says she is inspired by her late uncle-in-law, renowned interior designer Albert Hadley, who famously said, “Give ‘em what they don’t know they want.”

“I’ve always tried to do that with Posh,” Hadley said, “and I’m excited for Jenn to bring that same vision, passion and commitment to our Franklin customers.”

Posh is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and from noon until 5 p.m.on Sundays. For more information about franchise opportunities or store locations visit poshonline.com.
