Restaurateurs and industry veterans Chris Chwirut and Kristian Morgan have opened a new, upscale restaurant in historic downtown Nolensville, Pork Belly Farmhouse, located at 7263 Nolensville Road in Williamson County. Open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, the 150-seat restaurant specializes in contemporary southern cuisine, with Morgan serving as Executive Chef.
For their newest venture, Chwirut and Morgan have assembled an all-star team of hospitality professionals, consisting of team members and leadership from such well-known establishments as Table 3, Husk and TomKats Hospitality, bringing several decades of Nashville experience to Pork Belly Farmhouse.
“We live by our motto which is ‘Honest Food from Honest People,’ and Pork Belly Farmhouse is an extension of that belief,” said Chwirut. “We knew there was high demand for an elevated, full-service dining experience in Nolensville, and we’re thrilled to provide just that. From craft cocktails and gluten-free/healthy options to traditional favorites like steak and seafood, along with Pastry Chef Megan Alexander’s creative desserts, we offer a wide culinary variety for the whole family.”
Morgan continues, “We’ve watched the hospitality industry expand exponentially over the last few years, but little of that growth, particularly with independently-owned restaurants like ours, has extended to suburban areas like Nolensville. Chris and I wanted to create the same level of original, quality dining you’d expect in downtown Nashville, and put it in our own backyard.”
Pork Belly Farmhouse marks the duo’s second business in the area, as their original concept, Pork Belly Café, a fast-casual sandwich shop, opened in nearby Lenox Village in fall 2015. Construction is already underway on a third Pork Belly-themed concept for a neighborhood bar in Nolensville’s Carothers Farms development in Davidson County. Located just off Burkitt Road, the community bar and eatery is scheduled to open in mid-2019.
Pork Belly Farmhouse’s current dinner menu includes offerings such as: crispy pork appetizer, shrimp & grits, potato crusted salmon, roasted pork belly, and chocolate peanut butter cheesecake.
Pork Belly Farmhouse delivers a modern vision for southern hospitality and exceptional service. Open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., the restaurant offers a full bar, with an extensive wine list. Brunch service is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, December 22.
