Porchfest Artist Showcase: Liza Anne

Liza Anne is one of over 100 performers that will hit the stage, or porch, at this year’s Porchfest, at the Westhaven community in West Franklin. She will play a porch on Cheltenham Avenue on June 20 during Westhaven’s fourth annual Porchfest.

Before calling Nashville home, Liza Anne was raised on the quiet coast of Georgia, with roots in folk and rock music.  At the tender age of 19, she independently release her first album, The Colder Months, in February of 2014.  Her sophomore album, TWO, was just released this month.

Her recent local success includes a Tin Pan South appearance with Sam Palladio (from ABC’s Nashville), an iTunes Music New Artist Spotlight feature, and playing Moeller Mondays in Rock Island.  She also recently lent her voice in Damien Rice’s choir at The Ryman Auditorium.

Full events schedules and an interactive map are available on Westhaven’s new mobile app, which can be found by visiting www.westhaventn.com/porchfest, and are available for iPad, iPhone and Android formats.  You can also follow Porchfest on Facebook (/WesthavenPorchfest) and Twitter (WesthavenSLC).
