Louisville’s polo team is coming to Franklin to take on team Nashville in the first polo match of the Polo in the Park Series at Tractor Supply Arena in the Park at Harlinsdale Farm. Gates open at 11:45a and the match begins at 12:30p Sunday, Oct 2

Gnash, the saber-tooth tiger mascot of the Nashville Predators, will be at the polo match, which starts at noon.

Also from the Nashville Predators, the teams will be joined by Dennis Morgan, the Preds official singer for the National Anthem and helping to call the polo match will be the Preds TV Color Analyst, Stu “The Reaper” Grimson.

Polo is often referred to as ice hockey on horses, so the Predators connection is not much of a stretch.

The October Sunday Polo in the Park series will take place every Sunday afternoon culminating with the final match on Sunday, October 30,when the players will be in costume as Superheroes vs. Villians and there will be trick or treating for children who come in costume to the match.
General admission is $10. Children 10 and under are admitted free. VIP cabanas and parking are available. Contact 615-800-2268 for pricing and availability. A portion of all ticket and concession sales supports the Friends of Franklin Parks.

Harlinsdale Farm is located at 239 Franklin Road.
