Today, March 14th, is Pi Day. Pi is always the same number, regardless of the size of a circle. Pi has been calculated to more than one trillion numbers after its decimal point, but it’s commonly approximated to 3.14.

In celebraton of Pi Day, many companies are celebrating with deals on pies, pizza, and more.

Green Fleet Bicycle Shop: For Pi(e) Day at The Bike Shop, guests will be treated to 2-for-1 beers from 3:14- 7 p.m. and pies from Sweet Creations pie cart, as well as an opportunity to test ride a bike around the neighborhood. Kids who bring their math homework get a free pie. For those who can’t make it to the March 14 celebration, the 2-for-1 happy hour pricing will be offered all day every Tuesday and Wednesday during March and April. Additionally, every Thursday, $1 of every beer purchase will support a local charity, beginning on March 21 to help fundraising for one of Martha O’Bryan Center’s Tenn Speed bike teams.
