PHOTOS: Mantra Artisan Ales Hosts Launch Party for “Miel de Diamant”

Mantra Artisan Ales hosted a launch party for the release of their newest brew, “Miel de Diamant,” which showcases unique local flavors from Downtown Franklin, in honor of the upcoming Main Street Brewfest. The party, complete with live music and food trucks, was held on Friday, Feb. 10 at Mantra’s taproom in Franklin. We spoke to Chimi from Mantra Ales. Watch our video below.

Partnering with the Downtown Franklin Association, Mantra concocted a Belgian-style Saison pale ale, consisting of butternut squash and sweet potatoes from Delvin Farms, oak staves from Trubee Honey, Tasmanian pepper berries, sweet orange peel and cinnamon from Savory Spice Shop, all dry-hopped over diamonds from Walton’s Antique and Estate Jewelry. The Main Street beer is appropriately named “Meil de Diamant,” which means “honey diamond.”

There will be 2,000 cans of the limited-edition Meil de Diamant brew available for purchase. The can will feature a QR code for a discounted Brewfest ticket. The 14th-annual Main Street Brewfest will be held Saturday, March 11. For more details on the Main Street Brewfest and to purchase tickets click here.
