High Hopes Development Center students celebrated Week of the Young Child on Monday with a performance by local musician Kevin Griffin.
Griffin played songs for the kids and staff at High Hopes and enlisted the help of the High Hopes music teacher. Griffin, a resident of Franklin, is a vocalist and guitarist for the rock band Better Than Ezra and also has a solo career. He is a co-founder of Franklin’s Pilgrimage Music Festival, which recently formed a charitable partnership with High Hopes.
If you still need tickets to the Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival, they have allocated a limited number of two-day tickets for sale at its Level One pricing of $185 at the Franklin Theatre box office. These tickets can only be purchased by walk-up at the theatre.

The fifth annual Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival will be held Sept. 21-22 at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm.
