A large crowd both of tailgaters and patrons in elegant tents enjoyed excellent weather … for a time … at the 20th Annual Chukkers for Charity polo event at Riverview Farm in the Grassland Community.
A suprise severe storm brought wind and rain to the area, but not before patrons had a chance to enjoy the equestrian sport and the Wizard of Oz themed “Emerald Anniversary” event.
Hosts for the annual event are Lee Ann and Orrin Ingram.
It is a benefit for the Rochelle Center and for Saddle Up!, an equestrian therapy program.
