The 36th annual Pumpkinfest took place in downtown Franklin Saturday, Oct 26. Due to high winds, the event was cut short at 3 p.
However, the crowds showed up in the morning to participate in the activities. We stopped by our favorite and the festival staple- the kettle corn booth, they made fresh batches every two minutes. Watch how they make it below.
Also, the costume contest paraded from the Acoustic stage down to the Main stage where a competition took place for a prize winner in each category. And if you wanted to escape the rain, Franklin Grove was open for tours with shuttle service back and forth to Main Street.
See our photos and video below. Mark your calendar for the next downtown Franklin festival – Dickens of a Christmas which will take place December 14-15.
