Photo of the day: Leo33, an independent record label based in Nashville, is proud to announce the hiring of two exceptional talents: Joseph Manzo as Marketing Coordinator and Ana Shabeer as Director, Business Intelligence. Both bring an impressive range of experience in the music business and will play a pivotal role in expanding Leo33’s strategic initiatives and growth in the music space.

Ana Shabeer, originally from the tri-state area, brings over a decade of experience in the music industry, having worked with iconic brands and artists at Universal Music Group, including Justin Bieber, Avicii, and Rihanna. Ana began her career at Island Def Jam Music Group as an intern in radio promotion and A&R research and quickly rose through the ranks. She has played a key role in high-profile campaigns that led to multiple RIAA Certified Platinum awards and Billboard Hot 100 successes. Most recently, Ana was integral in Z3LLA’s #1 single achievement on the Mediabase U.S. Dance Chart and ODUMODUBLVCK’s success, which resulted in a major record deal with Def Jam. With her expertise in blending creativity and data analytics, Ana is well-equipped to support Leo33’s initiatives in data-driven artist development, brand building, and operational optimization.

Joseph Manzo, a graduate of Belmont University with a degree in Music Business, has had a long-standing passion for music and marketing. Originally from Atlanta, GA, Joseph knew he wanted to pursue a career in music almost a decade ago when he fell in love with the world of EDM and music production. After honing his skills as part of the marketing strategy team at WMA, Joseph worked with artists and festivals worldwide, including Ruth B., ABISHA, CLAY, and Hawthorne Heights’s Is For Lovers Festival. His experience also includes leading social media strategy for major music-adjacent brands like Sony Legacy and Live Nation. His diverse background in artist release campaigns and marketing strategy has prepared him for his role as Marketing Coordinator at Leo33, where he will continue to help elevate artists’ presence and connect them with their audiences.
