Pearre Creek Elementary Assistant Principal Janet Alexandrow will be the new principal at the school beginning January 1, 2019. Alexandrow will replace Dr. Stephanie Goff who is retiring at the end of the semester.

“Mrs. Alexandrow has done a great job working alongside Dr. Goff,” said Superintendent Dr. Mike Looney. “With her continued leadership and her vast knowledge and experience, we will have a seamless transition.”

Alexandrow has served as the assistant principal of Pearre Creek since 2016. Prior to that time, she was the assistant principal at Westwood Elementary for six years. Alexandrow began her teaching career in 1996 in Dickson County where she taught for nine years. She served five years as a literacy coach for McGraw-Hill and Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools.

“I am honored to be named principal of Pearre Creek Elementary,” said Alexandrow. “I look forward to spending each day with our community as we grow students into well-rounded, confident citizens who love learning.”

Alexandrow holds a Bachelor’s in Multidisciplinary Studies and a Master’s in Administration and Supervision from Tennessee Technological University.
