Passport to the World Continues With Columbia

The Sister Cities Passport to the World Lecture Series continues in September and features Columbia. Artifacts, dance and folklore will fill the Williamson County Library on September 8th at 2 p.m. Visit the country of Columbia without leaving the county.

Several Columbian speakers and Latin American music will be heard. Speakers will discuss Columbian demographics, politics and religion. Information on culture, traditions and folklore will be unveiled as will the origins of “La Cumbia” a traditional dance.

Pablo Garzon and his Ensemble for Latin American Music “Serenatta,” will play. You will also get a taste of culinary delights, while enjoying the exhibit of books, artifacts, videos and textiles displayed.
