Williamson County Parks and Recreation (WCPR) is pleased to announce two new ‘Row and Weights’ classes at the Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 Hillsboro Rd. These new classes combine the motion of rowing with weight training for a new strength and cardio experience. Rowing uses all the large muscle groups as the rower contracts, expands, then contracts again. For cross-training, the class also uses Grip Strength Equipment in a strength segment.

Row and Weights is offered on Mondays from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and Saturdays from 10:50 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. The class can be adapted for various fitness levels. The 57 other weekly classes included in the group fitness program at the Franklin Recreation Complex include Yoga, Zumba, indoor cycling, Pilates, and U-JAM. The center also offers Aqua Fitness and Senior Fitness classes. Group fitness classes are included in premium general admission ($8 adults, 18-54 yrs., $4 seniors and youth), premium monthly passes and premium annual passes.
