Painted Tree Marketplace, a creative community of shops featuring local shop owners, boutiques, decorators, artisans and craftsmen all under one roof, is currently under construction at 1113 Murfreesboro Road, Suite #254 in Franklin (the former Sky Zone location.) The Marketplace hopes to get vendors moving in as soon as this weekend. An expected opening will take place sometime in October.
The new completed space will be 49,000 square feet with over 200 vendors, a restaurant, and florist. Painted Tree Marketplace is a creative community of hundreds of shops selling everything from jewelry, vintage finds and apparel to bath and body products, furnishings, arts and crafts, and baby gifts. The store also emphasizes experiential shopping, offering a variety of workshops and demonstrations for the DIY home renovator.
Launched in 2015, Little Rock, Ark.-based Painted Tree brings together a wide mix of small, locally-owned shops that custom-design their booths and provide the stock of inventory, while Painted Tree’s staff handle all customer service at the stores. There are currently five locations of Painted Tree Marketplace with Franklin to be the second one in Tennessee.
