Page’s Jacob Van Landingham scored offensive and defensive touchdowns, and the Patriots’ rushing attack was in fine form, as Page routed White County, 48-0, on the road on Friday.
Jo Jo Bruce added an offensive and special teams score for Page (6-2).
The Patriots broke the game open early in the first half. After Bruce scored on a punt return, the defense recovered a fumble, then Bubba Johnson rumbled for a 10-yard score.
Bruce then scored on a 15-yard reverse, Quincy Compton added a 66-yard scoring run, and the score stood at 41-0 after a missed point-after.
Lee Keith added a 5-yard touchdown run, and Chase Tidmore’s kick extended the lead to 48-0.
Van Landingham, Page’s quarterback, helped the Patriots to a 14-0 first-half lead with an 80-yard interception return, followed by a 4-yard touchdown scamper.
That score held at the break.
Page is off next week before visiting Shelbyville Central on Oct. 20.
