Led by Ja’Sean Parks’ 197 yards, Beech rushed for 327 yards in upending Page from the TSSAA Class 5A playoffs by a 21-14 score on Friday.

Beech’s Aaron Fox scored the game-game-winning touchdown on a 25-yard run with 8:05 to play. Parks added three catches for 63 yards for Beech, which will meet Hillsboro (9-3) next.

Page (10-2) saw its seven-game winning streak snapped.

Page’s Quincy-Brock Compton ran 19 times for 138 yards and caught a pass for two yards. Patriots’ quarterback Cade Walker was 17 of 27 for 147 yards, but uncharacteristically threw a pair of interceptions, which went to Beech’s Bobby Whitley and Brian Colon.

Beech led 14-7 at half, but Page tied the game with 8:35 left in the third quarter thanks to Brock-Compton’s 19-yard run, his second touchdown of the night.

Austin Harshaw led Page with 12 tackles, seven solo, and a sack. Simon Simmonds also had an interception for the Patriots.

Beech held Page star Michael Burdick (four catches, 33 yards) in check. Miles Bonn (thre catches, 35 yards) was Page’s leading receiver.
