P. F. Chang’s Kicks Off Breast Cancer Awareness Month

P.F, Chang's

Franklin and Williamson County residents are invited to take part in adorning the iconic Warrior Horses that sit at the entrance of P.F. Chang’s. The horses will be decorated with bright pink, ribbon-shaped floral wreaths in recognition of those who have been impacted by the disease. Attendees will receive a small pink ribbon that can be dedicated to someone impacted by breast cancer and added to the ribbon of hope in the restaurant.

During October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, P.F. Chang’s continues its support in the fight against breast cancer with a campaign to raise awareness and funds for the American Cancer Society (ACS).

P.F. Chang’s in Franklin joins restaurants nationwide to invite local communities to “Try a Taco, Take a Pic” and help raise $100,000 for ACS during October.

The campaign launches with a kickoff event from 4-5 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 30 outside of P.F. Chang’s in Franklin with complimentary pink lemonade and the new Jicama Street Tacos. Beverage specials will be available on the patio including Pink Sangria. Participants also may register for a dinner for two that will be given away after the event.

In a show of nationwide support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, each P.F. Chang’s in the continental U.S. will host events.

How to Participate and Donate: “Try a Taco, Take a Pic”

From Oct. 1 through Oct. 31, diners can join the fight against breast cancer and help P.F. Chang’s reach its goal of donating $100,000 to the ACS by triggering a $1 donation via the following actions:

1) Purchase the Jicama Street Tacos at any P.F. Chang’s location in the continental U.S.
2) Share a picture in front of the P.F. Chang’s iconic Warrior Horse(s) on Twitter or Instagram with #PFChangsPink, or upload a photo directly to the tab on P.F. Chang’s Facebook page or at pfchangs.com/pfchangspink. Each shared photo will become part of a digital photo mosaic on the website, signifying someone who has a horse in the race against breast cancer.
