Operation Stand Down Nashville Seeks Development Coordinator

layout2_r1_c1Operation Stand Down Nashville (OSDN) a non-profit helping middle Tennessee homeless veterans is seeking a new development coordinator. OSDN was a beneficiary of the Patriot Pool Party and golf invitational last year at the Governor’s Club. This organization is highly acclaimed for its use of funding and its recovery success rate, helping veteran’s get back on their feet. If you meet the need below please contact Bill Burleigh.

A successful candidate must demonstrate fundraising skill sets to include personal solicitation, grant writing, special events planning and coordination, and direct mail. They must be able to create and successfully implement a Development Plan that will generate new revenue. Proficiency in e-Tapestry, Blackbaud or other fundraising software will be an asset. Qualified applicants must have a college degree, at least eight years development experience with experience in a small or one-person development office. A successful applicant will be sensitive to issues faced by veterans, will be a proficient writer and public speaker, a “people person,” an independent worker, a good organizer and planner, be creative, and goal oriented.
