Ongoing Summer Concerts You Don’t Want to Miss

The summer months are a great time to get out and enjoy music. Williamson County is bustling with summer concert series, perfect for the entire family beginning this weekend with the Americana Experience  in Downtown Franklin.  Check out this list of ongoing concerts you don’t want to miss!

1. Beatles Cover Band at Mellow Mushroom
For the third year in a row, Mellow Mushroom in Historic Downtown Franklin, will host Sixty-Four, a Beatles Cover Band, on the second Saturday of every month through October. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and to arrive early. No coolers or food are allowed.

Crockett Park Summer Concert Series
The City of Brentwood presents its 20th Eddy Arnold Amphitheater Concert Series. These family friendly concerts are held Sunday afternoons at 7pm. The community is invited to bring blankets and picnics!

2. Music in the Vines at Arrington Vineyards
Arrington Vineyards hosts Music in the Vines every year from April through December. From May through December the events are every Friday 5-9pm, Saturday 5-9pm and Sunday 2-6pm.Music in the Vines is a live outdoor jazz event featuring local groups in their vineyard courtyard. During the evening guests can also enjoy a complimentary wine tasting

3. Carnton Sunset Concert Series
Carnton Plantation presents the perfect place to enjoy an outdoor concert. The concerts are held on the east lawn next to he house. Gates open at 4:30p on concert night and the music runs from 6p-8p. Parking is free.

COST: Adults (ages 13+) are $10 in advance, $12 at the gate
Children (ages 6-12) are $5 in advance or at the gate
Children (ages 5 and under) are admitted for free
Tickets are available in advance at Carnton Plantation & The Carter House beginning Friday, June 6th.

4. Owl’s Hill Music in the Meadow
Pack a summer picnic, gather friends and family, and head to Owl’s Hill for an evening of fun, friends and music. Arrive early to stake out the perfect picnic spot, meet Owl’s Hill’s non-releasable live owls and go for a hike. Gates open at 5:30p and music begins at 7p.

COST: $20/person
$75/car (6 people max per car)
$200/car for three part series

5. Bluebird on the Mountain, Dyer Observatory
On one of the tallest hilltops in Nashville, theses concerts are scheduled around glorious sunsets on the portico of the Vanderilt Dyer Observatory.  Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, food & drink and relax on the Observatory’s front lawn to enjoy a fabulous evening of sunset, music, and stars. After the performance, when the stars begin to shine, the telescope is opened for visitors to cap their night with views of celestial wonders. Unless otherwise noted, tates open at 6p and music is scheduled from 8p-10p.

COST:
A limited number of individual concert tickets go on sale at Ticketmaster on the first day of the prior month. For example, tickets for the July 26th concert go on sale June 1st. Season tickets are sold out.
Tickets are $95 per car.
