One-Day QuickBooks Course Offered at Columbia State

On Monday, Nov. 2, Columbia State Community College’s Center for Workforce Development is offering QuickBooks 2013.

The one-day course is ideal for those who want to learn quickly and efficiently gain control over the financial aspects of a small business or organization.

Participants will learn how to set up a chart of accounts; reconcile checking accounts; create and print invoices; receipts and statements; track payables, inventory and receivables; create estimates; and generate reports.

The class takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Room 116 of the Waymon L. Hickman Building on the Columbia Campus.

The course fee is $140. The registration deadline is Wednesday, Oct. 21. Space is limited.
