Fashion Schools defined the South as Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, West Virginia, Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas.
The criteria used in making this list consisted, in no particular order, of the following:
- Academic reputation
- Admission selectivity
- Depth and breadth of the program and faculty
- Value as it relates to tuition and indebtedness
- Geographic location
O’More College of Design has been placed on the list since 2015. On the 2017 ranking, they were placed at number nine.
The Franklin-based O’More College of Design offers BFA degrees in Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising. Program highlights include internship opportunities at area designers and retailers and participation in the O’More Student Fashion Show.
O’More was founded in 1970 as O’More School of Interior Architecture and Design. The school is home to around 200 students enrolled in several programs across three schools.
