O’More Hosts First ICON Lecture Series

O’More College of Design is pleased to announce that its School of Interior Design will host the first-ever ICONS: Past to Present lecture series from January 26-29, featuring an impressive lineup of well-known professionals in the design field.

The series will use round-table discussions, book signings and key-note speakers over the course of the three-day event to shine a light on the designs and the designers—both those currently practicing as well as post-mortem figures—who continue to influence the work of contemporary creatives and the future of the industry.

A dynamic panel will include a range of industry leaders in the interior design field, including Laurie Smith of TLC’s “Trading Spaces,” Southern Living Executive Editor Jessica Thuston, and Charlie Scheips, among others.      7O3A4103

The Franklin Theatre in Historic Downtown Franklin will host the kick-off event on Monday, Jan. 26 with a lecture series and book signing, which will followed by the evening’s keynote dinner at the Frist Center for Visual Arts. The Tuesday and Thursday panels and discussions will come back to downtown Franklin, at The Franklin Theatre and O’More President Rebecca Stilwell’s home, respectively.

The series will offer both educational and networking opportunities for design students, creatives and industry professionals, and is open to the public.

Ticket prices for individual events range from $35 for the lecture panels to $125 for Monday’s benefit at the Frist Center.
