O’More Alumna Joins College Staff

Emily Mae Anderson joined the staff of O’More College of Design as a personal research assistant to President Dr. Mark Hilliard. Anderson graduated in May of this year and returns to help with event planning, research and publishing. Her past experience includes an internship with A Vintage Affair and assistance with the Fifth Annual A Fashion Affair.

While attending O’More Anderson was active in student government, and presented her 1960’s inspired collection in the 14th annual Eloise Student Fashion Show. She is founder of the O’More Supper Club, a student group that samples various cultural cuisines once a month. She has traveled with the school to France, Italy and recently Ireland where she made connections for students interested in doing design work there.

Anderson is an accomplished photographer and will also serve as the official photographer for O’More. Her photo,”Witness Tree” was used heavily for marketing to heritage tourism for Franklin.
