Sanctuary South

Sanctuary South gracefully joins the local home décor landscape as a haven of purposefully curated furniture, lighting, and accessories. The store located at 158 Front Street, Suite 104 in the Westhaven Community Town Center will host two days of grand opening events, which will include a Sip & See preview event for friends from 5-7pm on Thursday, Nov. 3 and a Grand Opening Celebrate & Shop event from 2- 7pm on Friday, November 4. Mother and daughter co-owners Suzy Mills and O’More Alumni Chelsea Skye Mills invite the community to  the official Friday opening event. Several of the store’s specialty vendors, including stationery and jewelry designers and local artists, will attend the festivities and be available to share their stories about their products.

“Sanctuary South was born out of a lifelong dream to create comforting spaces for people,” says co-owner Chelsea Skye Mills. “Our customers are like family to us and so are our vendors. We carry products of larger southern furnishing vendors like TAG and Napa Home, but we also showcase some amazing small vendors like Jerry & Julep stationery, 1818 Farms soaps and lotions, Canoe Bags, Henry Dry Goods, and Kee Kee Tees.”

“We are thrilled to be opening our store in Franklin – the city we have called home for over ten years,” says co- owner Suzy Mills. “Our house has always been our ‘sanctuary,’ our retreat from the stresses of everyday life, and we want our customers to feel that same kind of peace and comfort when shopping in our store for furnishings and accessories to complement their own home.”

Holiday home accent pieces, ornaments and gifts will take center stage at the opening this week. Sanctuary South features some distinctively southern stocking stuffers for the whole family, such as socks for dad, candles for mom, and items for baby. Sanctuary South hours of operation will be Monday- Saturday 10am -7pm. Follow Sanctuary South on Facebook for the latest updates.
