On Saturday, Olympic Gold Medalist, Shawn Johnson, got married to NFL player Andrew East in Franklin.
Johnson told People magazine,”I’ve found my guy- And he’s my best friend, so making it official is exciting.”
The recent “Dancing with the Stars” champion admitted to some wedding jitters but said the ceremony held on a farm in Franklin was just what she wanted,”intimate and relaxed.”
Planned by Fete Nashville, they posted on their  Facebook page how the couple got engaged. Stating “Where it all began..Last summer @andreweast popped the question @shawnjohnson a @chicagocubsnation game after she threw out the first pitch! #broandbug The big day is finally here! Shawn & Andrew start their #happilyeverafter
Fete Nashville also posted a pre-wedding photo of Johnson and her bridesmaids. Stating,”Sneak peek! @shawnjohnson and her girls!We had so much fun with @dancingabc hair & make-up stylists @dbano @ @labeautymakeup and the team from @krbeauty getting these ‪#‎bridesmaids‬ all dolled up! The couple plans to live in Nashville. Johson posted a picture on Instagram saying,”Mr. & Mrs East enjoying Napa Valley and Oakland #honeymoon
