Olive Garden, located at 1712 Galleria Boulevard, Franklin opened its doors for business on Monday, March 18 at 11 a. Just as the doors opened, a line was formed to catch a first glimpse of the newly opened restaurant or maybe it was to have an endless basket of breadsticks or never-ending stuffed pasta combination. Either way, the public wanted to be the first to try out the Italian restaurant.
Tresa Reigart, a 31-year veteran of the restaurant industry, will lead Olive Garden’s newest restaurant in Franklin. Reigart began her career with Olive Garden in 1997 as a server and bartender and calls coming to the Cool Springs location a full circle moment as just before she started with Olive Garden, she worked at the Red Lobster that is located right next door to the Cool Springs Olive Garden. Reigart held several positions and became General Manager in 2007 at another location.
With 7,197 square feet, the restaurant will accommodate more than 250 guests and will have a staff of 150 employees. Hours of operation are Sunday – Thursday 11 a – 10 p, and Friday – Saturday, 11 a – 11 p.
