William D. (Billy) Hagewood, age 77, lifelong resident of the Leiper’s Fork Community, passed away August 9, 2019. Born in Davidson County to the James William Lewis Hagewood and Dorothy Louise Meadows Hagewood. Billy was a retired Plumber and enjoyed watching western movies and fixing up old cars. He loved his family and will be sadly missed.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Mai Harrison Hagewood and sister, Shirley Ann Connell.
Survivors include his daughters, Christie (Larry) McDonald, Lissa Hagewood, Billie Sue (Joel) Barker, and Betsy Lynn (Jason) Price, Grandchildren, Jonathan McDonald, Tiffany McDonald, Dustin (Tiffany) McDonald, Jessica Mae Barker, Great-Granddaughter, Libbee Christine Reed McDonald.
Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday August 12, 2019 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home with Jim Taylor officiating. Visitation will be 2-7pm on Sunday and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Burial will follow the service in Leiper’s Fork Cemetery. Family and Friends will serve as Pallbearers.
