William Blythe “Buddy” Overton, age 72 passed away June 9, 2018.
He was a 1964 graduate of Spring Hill High School. He served with the Tennessee National Guard in Columbia, TN. He was the owner and operator of Swift Garbage Service.
Preceded in death by parents, Paul Blythe and Annie Lou Holland Overton of Spring Hill, TN; brother-in-law, Bill Ferguson; and niece, Debbie Jarrett. Survived by son, William Troy (Vanissa) Overton of Spring Hill, TN; sister, Grace Ferguson of Culleoka, TN; brother, Paul Overton of Spring Hill, TN; grandchildren, Ainsley and Riley Overton; nieces, Victoria Overton, Cindy Dugger, Carol Ferguson and Denise (Tony) Bridges; and special caretaker, Kristy McFalls.
Memorial services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home, Ward Jones officiating. Inurnment will be in Buford Cemetery.
