Trula Coleman Johnson, age 72 of Chapel Hill, TN formerly of Franklin, TN passed away Wednesday Feb 21, 2018 at her residence with her loving family by her side.
Born in Williamson County, she was a retired 35 year employee of APCOM of Franklin and 1963 Graduate of Franklin High School. Trula was known as the Cake Lady. She loved making cakes, doing things for others, being with her family and friends, and just had a big heart for everyone.
Preceded in death by her parents, Sim and Ruffie Coleman, husband of 50 plus years Raymond Johnson, sister, Margaret Jennette, brothers, Joe, Vernon, Henry, and Alfred Coleman. Survived by her daughters, Lynn (Gary) Babcock, Michelle “Pete” (Billy) Lampley, Holly (James) Bond, Grandchildren, Sarah (Andrew) Holt, Savannah Babcock, Bay-Lee Lampley, Brook (Logan) Williams, Jesse Lampley, Josie Bond, Jimmy Bond. Step-sons, Ray (Debbie) Johnson, Mike (Roberta) Johnson, step-grandchildren, Joey (Britta) Johnson, Katie (Justin) Essary, Christy, Ashley, and Rachel. Sisters, Hazel (Donald) Jones, Carline (Thomas) Turman, Martha (David) Demonbreun, Mary Christley (Earl “Runt”), sisters in-law, Bessie Coleman and Odelene Coleman, numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family members.
Services will be conducted 1:00PM Sunday Feb 25, 2018 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home with Jim Taylor officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 4-8pm and 11-1 PM on Sunday. Burial in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Jimmy Bond, Jesse Lampley, Joey Johnson, Logan Williams, Andrew Curle, Chas Edwards, Donald “Hudd” Huddleston & Benny Latta. Honorary Pallbearers will be Employees and former employees of APCOM.
