Thennie Deanna “Dee Dee” Smith Brown, 56, of Franklin, TN passed away peacefully on Monday, December 24, 2018. She was a native of Princeton, WV and the daughter of the late Fred Eugene Smith and Hattie Price Forney. She graduated from Princeton High School in 1980, served as an E-4/Specialist 4 in the United States Army, graduated from ITT Technical Institute in 2010, and was retired from Franklin American Mortgage Company.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Eugene Brown (Heather) of Madison TN, Ria Golden (Antonio) of Murfreesboro TN, Chelsey Brown of Antioch TN, Tia Brown of Springhill TN, Charles A. Brown III “Taxi”, Jesse Brown both of Terre Haute IN and Brannon Smith of Dallas TX, who she cherished as her own; sisters, Lydia Heartwell of Clinton MD, Cynthia Smith of Durham NC, Cheryl Smith-Stewart and Letitia Smith both of Princeton WV; grandchildren, Kaleb Lewis, DJ Golden, Desiree and Deja Brown; Charles A. Brown Jr (Nicky) of Terre Haute IN, and a host of family and friends.
Thank God for my soul’s resting.
