Steven R. Taylor, age 70 of Spring Hill, TN passed away on December 17, 2018.
Steve was born in Lincoln County, TN to Roy and Emogene Woods Taylor. He was a veteran of the US Army and retired from Bellsouth after 34 years of service. He spent many years riding dirt bikes and camping with family and friends. Steve enjoyed taking trips to Bike Week in Daytona, deer hunting, farm life and sharing deer meat and stories with others.
He loved watching Spring Hill Raider Baseball and challenging kids at basketball in the driveway. He was a bit of a prankster with a heart of gold who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Preceded in death by father, Roy Taylor; sister, Pat White; mother-in-law, Nancy Faulkner. He leaves behind his loving wife of 49 years, Nanette Faulkner Taylor; mother, Emogene Taylor; daughters, Karen Cox (Jake) of Gulfport, MS, Jan Nayadley (Jesse) of Ooltewah, TN, and Christie Warwick (Kevin) of Spring Hill, TN; grandchildren, Wesley Dugger, Taylor Warwick, Kaylee Warwick, Hannah Warwick, Cade Nayadley, Riley Nayadley and Caleb Cox.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home, Phil Bennett and Tom Miller officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-8PM on Wednesday and one hour prior to service. Burial at the Stiles Family Cemetery in Kelso, TN.
