OBITUARY: Sadler Creighton Overton

Sadler Creighton Overton, beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, brother-in-law and friend, went to be with the Lord on July 26, 2025. He was born on November 26, 2004, in Nashville, TN, to Randy and Rachel Overton and was brother to Sydney, Sutton, Sadie, Simms and Sully.

Sadler graduated from Franklin Christian Academy and went on to pursue his dream of flying by completing flight training at Spartan College of Aeronautics in Tulsa, OK. He was on the cusp of continuing his passion to train new pilots at Kingsky Flight Academy in Lakeland, FL.

Outside of flying, he loved cars, trucks, motorcycles, golf and playing his guitar and sharing these passions with his siblings and friends. He was committed to the Lord and developed deep friendships leaving a lasting impact on all that he encountered.

Visitation will be held, Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 11-2 p.m. with the service at 2 p.m. at Brentwood Baptist Church in Brentwood, TN with burial at the Hillsboro-Leipers’ Fork Community Cemetery in the Williamson County Community of Leipers’ Fork afterward.

Pallbearers will be Sutton Overton, Simms Overton, Sully Overton, Josh Breland, Spencer Moody, Jackson Moody, and Max Moody. Honorary Pallbearer is Tyler Moody.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
