Ruth Elizabeth Bennett Poteete, age 95 of the Peytonsville Community passed away Jan 15, 2019. Ruth was a Longtime Williamson County native.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Phil and Modie Harper Bennett, husband, T. Tom Poteete, sons, Phil and Tom Poteete, five sisters and three brothers. Survivors include daughters, Dot Shiver, Bertha (Jessie) Crawford, Faye (Alvis) Stafford, son, Emory (Teresa) Poteete, Eight Grandchildren, Thirteen Great-Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted 11AM Monday Jan 21, 2019 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Ryan Austin and Eddie Whitefield officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8pm Sunday and one hour prior to the service. Burial in Bennett Cemetery. Active Pallbearers, Colton Escue, Jamie Anderson, Michael Hartley, Bubba Poteete, Dagan Bates, Dale Green, Micah Dukes. Honorary Pallbearers, Donna Dukes, Peggy Green, Barbara Grimes, Jennifer Bates, Paula McGee, Ruth Toombs and Members of Cross Keys Baptist Church.
