Roger E. Gower, 77, passed away on Wednesday, October 25th, 2017 in Nashua, New Hampshire.
He married the love of his life Julia K. Gower in 1996 and they shared 21 wonderful years of marriage. Born in Nashville, Tennessee he was the son of F. E. “Gene” Gower and Mary Gower.
Roger attended and graduated from the University of Mississippi “Ole Miss”. He served in the US Navy as Lieutenant Commander in the Nuclear Submarine Corp during the Vietnam era. He was a division CEO of Texas Instruments and ITT and CEO of Intellidex, Data Media Corp and MCT. After retiring, he enjoyed serving on the Board of Directors of several companies.
He was a parishioner at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Nashua, NH. Roger loved spending time with family and friends, playing golf, traveling to exotic places around the world and pampering his beloved dogs. Roger had a great sense of humor, never met a stranger and always had an experience to share.
Survived by his wife Julia, brother, Robert Gower, his children Scott Gower and Elaine Lennard, his grandchildren Keely, Chad, Ashley, TJ and great granddaughter Avery. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Williamson Memorial Gardens in Franklin, Tennessee.
