Norma Jean Adkison Barker, age 89 of Franklin, TN passed away January 20, 2019. Member of the Franklin Community of Faith Church of the Nazarene.
Preceded in death by husband, Walter Clyde Barker. Survived by: daughters, Jaxie Barker Harwell, Joan Barker Elliott, Sheila Barker (Miller) Polk, Kim Barker (Bobby) Floyd; brothers, Audie (Agnes) Adkison and Gary (Linda) Adkison; sisters, Wanda Puryear and Kaye (Randy) Frye; grandchildren, Shannon Caneer, Jimmy (Lori) Elliott, Tonya (Jon) Dodd, Christopher (Shannon) Polk, Roger Harwell, Dusty Polk, Tyler (Rachel) Floyd; sixteen great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, January 25, 2019 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Pastor Ronnie Johnson officiating. Interment Adkison Cemetery in Santa Fe, TN. Active pallbearers will be Jimmy Elliott, Christopher Polk, Dusty Polk, Tyler Floyd, Cody Caneer and Jon Dodd. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Franklin Community Church and staff of Alive Hospice. Memorials may be made to Alive Hospice or the Peytonsville Rescue Squad.
