Mother Nora Jane Hodge’s life came to an end on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at the age of 85 at NHC Health Care Center in Franklin, Tennessee. Nora was born on September 27, 1939, in Williamson County, Tennessee, to parents Susie Anna Winters and Brice Henry Cheatham.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory devoted children, Patricia (Kenny) Blakely, Boyd Ridley Hodge, Jr. (Emmarine Carter) and Linda Faye Johnson; bonus daughter, Darlene (Edward) Morton; grandchildren, Chandra (Mark) Weeden, Courtney Johnson, Cherika Newman and Anthony Johnson; 9 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sister, Narciss Cheatham; sister-in-law, Dillie Hodge; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Mother Hodge will lie in state on Friday, September 12, 2025, from 12 until 5 at the Funeral Home.
Visitation with family, Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 1 until 2 at Limestone Baptist Church, 1613 West Main Street, Franklin, Tennessee 37064, with the funeral to begin at 2 p.m. Elder Anthony Maurice Johnson, eulogist.
