Mary Ann Price, Age 71 passed away at her residence in Franklin, TN. March 24, 2018.

Born in Birmingham, AL to the late Vernon Jefferson Robinson and Mary Clyde Rogers Robinson.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Claire Robinson McGill. Mary Ann is survived by her husband, Kenneth Raburn Price, her two sons, Jeffrey Ray (Laura) Price of College Grove, TN, and Andrew David (Heather) Price of Davidson, NC. Grandchildren include Joshua Bryant Price, Anna Karon Price, Madison Faith Price, and Holden Andrew Price. Nieces are Kristen Faye McGill and Allison Ann Key both of Birmingham, AL. Her beloved pet Lucy.

Mary Ann attended Jefferson State Junior College and Samford University in Birmingham and Graduated from Bluefield College with a BS degree in 1990. She received MA degree in Education at Western Kentucky University in 1993. Mary Ann had many jobs such as teaching, working in a flower shop and a dental office, teaching water aerobics at the Y, but her favorite positions were serving as Student Personnel Director at Bluefield college, working with special needs adults in Kentucky, and with Upward Bound high school students in Virginia. She was in Girl Scouts for 21 years and attended the last international roundup held in Idaho. She enjoyed participating in synchronized swimming at Samford University, and was active in various churches throughout her life, including as a hand bell choir member and as a choir director. Mary Ann had many hobbies, including arts and crafts, gardening, and collecting seashells and sea glass.

She loved to travel, and her favorite vacations included shelling on the beaches in the Dominican Republic, traveling in their motor coach, and visiting friends across the US and in Germany. Mary Ann never met a stranger. She loved people, and many were attracted to her for she would lovingly help anyone in need.

The Price family will be receiving friends, Friday, April 13 from 5-7:30 pm. at the Church of the City – 828 Murfreesboro Rd, Franklin. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00PM Saturday, April 14 also at the Church of the City with the family receiving friends from 12 noon until service time.
