OBITUARY: Lizzie Mai Jackson

Lizzie Mai Bagsby Jackson, age 95 of Franklin, TN passed away September 12, 2025.

Mrs. Lizzie was an employee at Durango Boot Factory and after retirement she worked at Henpeck Market. She loved working and was a hard worker. She was a musician in a gospel and bluegrass band and loved to sing. She enjoyed being outside and working in the garden and cooking. She was a member of Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by husband, Charles Russell Jackson and parents, Eugene and Lula Marlin Bagsby and ten siblings.

Survived by sons, James Jackson and Terry Jackson; grandchildren, Jocelyn Jackson, Misty (Joey) Roberson, Crystal (Gary) Hicks, Thomas Jackson, Jacquelyn (Michael) Bell, and Brandon (Leslie) Jackson; 13 great grandchildren and 16 great, great grandchildren; brothers, John Bagsby and Gaither Bagsby.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 17 from 3 PM to 7 PM and Thursday after 10 AM. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 PM Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Burial will follow at Williamson Memorial Gardens.
