Judith Anne Bradford

On August 13, 2018 Judith Anne Bradford (78) passed from this life to Eternal Life with Our Lord.

She died in Peace surrounded by family. Judith was born 4-30-40 to John and Jean French and growing up, variously, resided in Paw Paw, IL, Beecher, IL and Joliet. IL where John was a School Superintendent. Judith was a graduate of Wooster College, Ohio where as a Speech and Theatre Major she appeared in a number of leading roles. For several years following college, Judith taught school in Romeoville and DeKalb, IL. For 20 years Judith was married to Ronald A. DaRosa and together in Glen Ellyn, IL. they raised two children, Ronald A. DaRosa II (now of Southern IL. and Isle, Mn) and Laurel-Anne (DaRosa) Siebel (now of College Grove, TN).

Later in life Judith was married several years to Stanley Bradford of Winfield, IL who preceded her in death. In her final years, while living in College Grove TN., she was a regular parishioner at the College Grove United Methodist Church and active participant at Fifty Forward in College Grove. She immensely enjoyed her newly cultivated friendships within both organizations.

Judith was the supreme optimist—she saw the best in people—she gave without counting the cost. Always positive one of her favorite sayings was “My glass is half full”. Indeed, her glass of life was always full as it was filled with her love of God and family.

Judith is survived by her beloved son, Ronald, beloved daughter, Laurel-Anne; three grandchildren, Sarah (DaRosa) Mestes, Christopher Siebel and Anna Siebel; one great grandchild, Wyatt Mestes; and one sister, Jane Yow of Fresno, CA.
