John “Johnny/JJ” Wallace Hosford, Jr. age 64 of Shelbyville, TN passed away July 19, 2019. Born in Williamson County, TN to the late John W. Hosford Sr. & Ann Fentress Hosford.
He was a loving husband, a supportive father, a proud grandfather, and fierce friend. He took delight and lived for his family. He was a proud member of the Teamsters Local 480 Truck driving union and took pride in his work. Johnny also an avid UT Vol’s fan, loved golf, and NASCAR.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Gary Hosford and brother in-law, Charley Tribe. Survived by his devoted wife of 42 years, Jane Paterson Hosford of Shelbyville, TN; sons, John W. Hosford III and Justin (Josh Norman) Hosford; daughter, Jami (Evan) Hosford Rodriguez; nephews, Michael Hosford, Bryan Tribe, Bryce Tribe and Richard Atlee; nieces, Jami Tory, Brandi Tribe and Beth Atlee; sister, Donna (Kevin) Addy; sister in-law, Sue Tribe; grandchildren, Gabriel & Connor Hosford, Savannah, Mark & Luke Fox; great-granddaughter, Carolina Campbell.
A funeral service will be held 3:00PM Thursday, July 25, 2019 with visitation from 1-3PM at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Jim Taylor will officiate.
