Jerry Wayne Wise, Sr., age 65 of Spring Hill, TN went to be with Lord on February 6, 2019.
Wayne was born in Williamson County to the late John Wise Jr. and Thelma Beatrice Caruthers Wise. He was a member of the Jones Chapel Church of the Nazarene. Wayne was a longtime employee of Lasko and later retired from the maintenance department at Williamson Medical Center. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty Joyce Pruitt Wise and 6 siblings. He leaves behind sons, Jerry “Bubba” Wise, Jr. of Spring Hill, TN and Jonathan (Katie) Wise of Chapel Hill, TN; step-daughters, Penny (Chris) Carpenter of Lewisburg, TN and Pam (Troy) Choate of Blacklick, OH; brothers, Lytle (Evelyn) Wise and Johnny (Linda) Wise; grandchildren, Kyle Choate, Garrett Choate, Dylan Wise, Taylor Wise, Peyton Wise, Tiffany Reed and Brittany (Dakota) Russell; great grandchildren, Regan Choate, Paisley Choate, Skylar Smith, Kinsley Pearre, Paisley Russell and Jaxon Humphrey.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home, Pastor Gary Fewell officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-8PM Saturday and one hour prior to the service. Burial in Spring Hill Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Russell Johnson, Earl Wise, Eric Hargrove, Steven Hargrove, Derrick Hargrove, Allen Osborne and BJ Pruitt. Honorary Pallbearers are members of the Jones Chapel Church of the Nazarene. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
