Jamie Taylor Powell, age 70 of Brentwood, TN passed away August 31, 2017.
Born in Washington DC to the late John and Jimmie Wall Taylor. Received her Bachelor’s Degree from Williamson College. Retired early childhood teacher/administrator for over thirty five years. Active member of Hillcrest United Methodist Church.
Survived by: husband, Bob Powell; son, Philip (Sydney) Powell; daughter, Tricia (Steven) Zongor; grandchildren, Savannah Powell, Sawyer Powell and Gracie Zongor; brother, Tommy (Rebecca) Taylor and other loving family members.
Graveside services will be conducted 3:00 PM Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Williamson Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday, September 4, 2017 at Hillcrest United Methodist Church, 5112 Raywood Lane, Nashville, TN 37211 and visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
