James William Head’s life came to an end on Monday, September 1, 2025, at the age of 72, at his residence in Franklin, Tennessee. James William was born on July 27, 1953, in Williamson County, Tennessee, to the parents of Josephine Marie Pointer Head and Robert Edward Head.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory his children, Regennia Starnes, Terrance (Jamie) Haynes, Damien Hodge and LaDarrious Lee; 16 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sisters, Brenda Head, Mary (Johnny) Christmon and Carla Head; brothers, Thomas (Faye) Head, Arthur Mack (Vee) Menifee, Robert (Linda) Head, Keith (Gail) Head and Tim Head; sister-in-law, Linda Ann Head; aunt, Lille Dickson; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends devoted friend, Jennie Pitts.
Mr. Head will lie in state on Friday, September 5, 2025, from 12 until 5 at the Funeral Home.
Visitation with family, Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 11 until 12 at Lynn Creek Tabernacle Church, 117 Fairground Street, Franklin, Tennessee 37064, with the funeral to begin at 12 noon. Elder John Haynes, officiating; Bishop Kenneth Steele, eulogist.
