James Willard Whidby, age 71 of Franklin, TN went home to be with his loving wife, Janice Marie Whidby September 3, 2017.
Willard was a veteran of the US NAVY. He then went on to retire with Vulcan Materials.
Preceded in death by his loving wife, Janice Marie Whidby and parents, James Walter and Mattie Louise Whidby. He is survived by his daughter, Tina (Daniel) Wischhof; son, Rodney (Madonna) Whidby; grandchildren, Shawn Whidby, Nick (Rachel) Ferrell, Katie (Will) Ladner, Lauren Ferrell and Jake Howell; great grandchildren, John Daniel Ferrell and Eli Howell; sisters, JoAnn (Glenn) King and Sue Givens; father in-law and mother in-law, Miles and Betty Johnson.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00PM Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Interment, Williamson Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Red Cross.
