James Walter Beard, age 73, of Franklin, TN passed away November 15, 2017.
He was a farmer, loved to hunt, play cards, golf, fish and loved his family.
Preceded in death by parents, Henry Claude and Lillie Mai Deason Beard; brother, John Edward “Johnny” Beard; and sister Minnie Florence Beard Langford. Survived by daughter Yvonne “Punkin” Beard; sisters, Mary Claudine Beard Caldwell, Clara Lillian Beard O’Neal and Donna Louise Beard; several nieces & nephews; great nieces & nephews; and special friend, Judy Buford Beard.
Funeral Service will be 11:00AM Friday, November 17, 2017 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers Greg Caldwell, Ronnie & Troy Maupin, Jimmy Beard, Jimmy Deason, and Eddie Wayne Beard. Honorary pallbearers all of J.W.’s card playing Buddies, Ray Smithson, Renay Roberts, Emma Wilson, Katlyn Laskey and Midge Sullivan. Memorials may be made to J.W. Beard Memorial Fund. Visitation 4-8:00PM Thursday and one hour prior to the service.
